I had a fun weekend with my younger cousin (12 years old) in Ft. Myers. I brought down my small kiln so we could make some glass pendants for her party. The girls had a blast! I will post pictures of their beautiful work when I get them from my mother’s camera.
On the gallery front, things are progressing I should be installed very, very soon. I will keep everyone updated.
We have new squares to post from Allison Watson, Jim Draper, Roger Otto and Doug Coleman. Several others are in the works as we speak! So excited!
And don’t forget the Imagination Squared exhibit opening on Wednesday, September 1 during Art Walk. Be there if you submitted work for a group photo!
OK, here’s the deal: I’m back at the Landing! I’m waiting for paper work and such, and I’m thinking it will be 2-3 weeks, but woohoo!

I am also very proud and HONORED to be a part of a new project that the Riverside Arts Market is initiating. I will be a partner to a special art gallery they are creating on Saturdays, and that I will house in the winter months. Look for more details soon!
I was looking at different artists I know and have newly met and I am just humbled by the creativity that surrounds me. How in the world did I get here?! I am very glad that I am where I am at this moment, though, because very good things are coming and I get to play a small part in it. I’m learning things and doing things and I will give my all. I hate to be cryptic, but I think it’s important for now. When certain things are in place, I will share.
I’m back at home and setting up temporary digs. I’m waiting to hear about a new space through the Off The Grid program. It was a HOT day yesterday moving all my stuff out and into the van… and it wasn’t even noon yet!
So, I’m also getting involved in a really cool and big project with the Riverside Arts Market. As soon as I have firmed up my part, I will let you all know. I so excited, I can’t stand it!
